Sustainable Westborough and the Rotary Club of Westborough are pleased to host the 2023 Westborough Environmental Action Fair at the Westborough High School gymnasium and auditorium on May 13th.

​

The Environmental Action Fair will provide participants information about how our daily lives are impacting the environment including climate change. Our goal is to offer the community useful information and resources that could be used to make timely changes at the individual or local level to protect the environment.

​

Student Exhibitors representing every school in Westborough including 3 STEM clubs from the High School and the Sustainability Squad and the Green Team at Mill Pond School will be at the fair. Student posters and artwork concerning nature and the environment will be on display.

12 PM - Climate Feedback Loops with Melanie Wallace, Emmy Award winning producer, formerly of the PBS science series NOVA

 2 PM - Generation for Change Insight on Climate Change from a Mill Pond School Student Panel

 3 PM - Conservation of Native Pollination Systems Dr. Robert Gegear, assistant professor of biology at UMass – Dartmouth and founder of The Beecology Project

 4 PM- A Beginner’s Guide to Navigating Chickens Meghan C. Riley, specializing in Agricultural Education with 4H and UMass Extension
